With absolute success and with attendance that exceeded our expectations a meeting was held in Heraklion by Ydrometal I. Anyfantakis S.A. in collaboration with the German company REHAU a manufacture of varied materials on the subject:

"Geothermic and Solar Energy in installations of heating-air conditioning and production of hot water of use"

The dynamic presence not only of mechanical engineers, students and institutions of supreme education but also private individuals proves the obvious henceforth sensitization of people on issues of renewable sources of energy that derives so much from the ecological conscience of each one as well as from economic motives, cause of swift increase of conventional fuels.

During the meeting an analysis of methods of geothermal installations was presented as well as examples of applications, economic and technical elements of installations that have already been materialised. At the same time guests had the possibility of addressing questions to the panel of the speakers and mainly to the professor Michali Brachopoulos mechanical engineer/engineer PeHD who assisted in Crete as the basic speaker of the meeting.

The presentation closed with the promise from the organizers to repeat similar events, about saving of energy and the efforts for cleaner environment which constitute also their own priority.
